France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

The Chateau de Serrant is one I had hoped to view from inside as well as outside but unfortunately it was not open when we were there. It is impressive isn't it? This grand mansion was built in the 1600s to replace an earlier fortress on this site. Today it is a prince's private residence.
